Captain Elizabeth Ellison
A San Francisco CA native, Elizabeth (Liz) Ellison has been sailing for almost 30 years.
Liz crewed for several years on other vessels before purchasing her own boat, an Ultimate 20, honing her skipper skills. After over a decade of competing in some of the most elite regattas in California (Rolex Big Boat Series, California Offshore Race Week, Transpac to name a few), in 2017 she bought the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 Paso Doble and sailed her down to beautiful Mexico.
Since then, she has been exploring this paradise, saililng as far south as Zihuatenejo/Ixtapa and north up the Sea of Cortez all the way to the Refugio Islands!
As Liz lives most of the year on Paso Doble, she knows the vessel inside and out and keeps her "ship shape" and ready for ADVENTURE!
Liz is always excited to meet new people and share her love and passion for sailing the ocean blue.
