I am a 25 y.o Mexican sailor from Puerto Vallarta. In 2020
I was given the opportunity to crew for Viva México, a Volvo

Ocean 65 boat campaigning for The Ocean Race. My first time sailing the boat was in a delivery from Panama to Acapulco sailing 1500 NM with this having the opportunity to get to know the boat and trying many positions on board.

In 2020 I started working full time for the team, preparing the boat in Acapulco for delivery in Europe in preparation for the Ocean Race Europe. During the last 2 years with Viva Mexico,

I have been focusing on studying the boat systems inside our boat on all deliveries from and to race venues and crewing as a bowman and boat captain.

I love to repair and maintain the boat's equipment with the highest detail and have been learning and working alongside the best professionals in the sailing industry. Currently I am working as a rigger in my hometown Puerto Vallarta.
