Itinerary 2025

Day #1: We Begin in Tahaa

Starting from ether Ocean Adventures’ base at 11:30 a.m. in the Motu Mahaea, or Motu Cerant (Tahaa).

Begin A.S.A. #101 Basic Keelboat Certification

Beautiful snorkeling near the reef, swimming in crystal clear waters. Night on anchor or move to the Haamene bay for a dinner at the restaurant Tahaa Maitai, chez Bruno, excellent chef.

Day #2: Tahaa to Bora Bora 22 NM

Start early to Bora Bora by the Tiva pass, anchor West of the motu Topua. Swimming, snorkeling with Manta Rays and Sharks, then take a mooring at Bora Bora Yacht Club. Good restaurant and you can refill with water at the dock. Laundry service available.

Day #3: Exploring Bora Bora

From the East side of the Bora Bora lagoon. Many possible spots to anchor. Visit the Lagoonarium and swim with the Rays, Sharks, Turtles... Possible Tahitian lunch on the motu (Mauna Motu Tairui Louis Tel 87 24 77 86)

Day #4: Bora Bora to Raiatea 22NM

Start very early for a rough and long passage to Mirimiri pass, then sail South to the Anapa Pearl farm. Take one of their moorings and call Summer for a free visit snorkeling of the farm. (87707 607) Anchor on the mooring for the night.

Day #5: Mountaineering, Sailing, and River Snorkling

After breakfast, excursion in the Tahaa mountain with Alain Plantier, then sail to the Tautau motu for coral River snorkeling.

Day #6: Anapa Pearl Farm

We will Sail South following the East coast of Raiatea. Take one of there moorings and call Summer for free visit to snorkeling farm. (Tel:87707 607). Anchor on the mooring for the night.

Day #7: Raiatea to Huahine 25 NM (5-6 hours)

Anchor in Fare a typical small village. Boutiques, bar, and restaurant on sea front.

Day #8: The Beautiful Avea Bay Avea

Early sail to the South and anchor in the beautiful bay Avea. Anchor in 12m of sand off the beach.Good snorkeling on the coral heads and go for a walk along the shore. Restaurant "Chez Tara" on the beach and refill water at the "Relai Manaha" dock.

Day #9: Fishing, and River Tour

Passage Huahine - Raiatea, downtown, good fishing towing a line for Tunasor Mahi Mahi. Enter the Irihu pass and anchor for the night on a mooring in the Faaroa Bay. Contact James for the Mangrove river tour, ask him for fruits & veggies, Vanilla.

Day #10: Stand Up Paddle Boards

Take the Stand Up Paddle Boards or dingy along the mangrove river (no engine allowed there) Visit the Botanical garden beyond the wooden dock. Aftr lunch, sail to Apu Bay, morring at Daves tour,North of the motu in the Apu Bay,

Excursion with Dave. Dinner at the Ficus restaurant really local vibe & food.

Day #11: Back to Home Base

Back to Marina O.A. Base at 8:00am stop over at the fuel station at entrance to the marina for fuel and diesel refill.
